Pakistan Cricket Board revokes IPL NOCs
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Friday cancelled all the No Objection Certificates (NOCs) issued to its players for participation in the third edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The decision by the board means that no Pakistani player can now participate in tournament even if the franchises sign them as substitutes.
“All NOCs issued to Pakistani players for their participation in IPL 3 stand revoked. In the future if any player receives an invitation for participation in IPL events, PCB will decide the matter on a case-to-case basis after consulting the relevant government authorities,” the PCB said in a statement.
The board has issued NOCs to total 26 players, including Shahid Afridi, Imran Nazir, Abdul Razzaq, Saeed Ajmal, Kamran Akmal, Umar Akmal, Muhammad Amir, Umar Gul, Sohail Tanveer, Rana Naveed and Misbah-ul-Haq.
A spokesman for the Pakistan Sports Ministry also said that in future if any Pakistani player gets an offer to play in the IPL, he would have to approach the PCB and seek fresh NOCs from relevant ministries including security clearance and approval from Foreign Ministry, The Dawn reports.
The decision came after unconfirmed reports suggested that all-rounder Adbul Razzaq was approached by Kolkata Knight Riders and Deccan Chargers.
Earlier, 11 Pakistani players were ignored by all the franchises at the player auction for the tournament held in Mumbai. The snub had created uproar in Pakistan, which seemed to have been affecting the ties between both the countries.

According to sources, Shruthi Hassan is demanding the sum of Rs 25 lakhs as a single payment and no bargains. She says that she is talented enough demand the above said amount and worth of each rupee. She says once she accepts the role, she works hard to justify the role. She did her own stunts in hindi film 'Luck'. Shruthi even learning Telugu to dub her own voice. It is papa Kamal advice to shruthi to learn Telugu and concentrate on Tollywood.
Showing those reasons, the young girl is demanding high remuneration which seems astonishing to some big producers like Ramanaidu, who wanted to sign her opposite to Rana.

She was one of the few Indian actresses who maintained their curves during the onslaught of the 'size zero' trend, but Sameera Reddy surprised 
onlookers when she turned up at a recent event here looking svelte as never before. The actress was seen loosing lots of weight and more importantly sexy curves she is famous for. Sameera blamed the weight loss on director Nagesh Kukunoor.
"I personally like a bit more meat on myself, I am all for the voluptuous look. But Nagesh Kukunoor with whom I was shooting 'Yeh Honsla' made me work so hard that I lost all the weight. The three months I was shooting, he made me work real hard and did not even allow me to have my phone near me “Sameera told reporters.
The 27-year-old actress will be seen in a deglamourised role in the film where she plays a woman living in a small hamlet in Rajasthan whose life changes when she learns how to use a camera. The film was shot over a period of three months in the desert state and the rigorous schedule made Sameera lose her famous curves.

Preity Zinta jumps off toilet wall at Delhi airport

Bollywood actress Preity Zinta pulled off a stunt by jumping off the wall of a toilet at the Delhi airport after she got stuck inside for more than 10 minutes.
"Spent 10 minutes stuck in the toilet at the airport Finally had to climb the wall and jump over People were calling out my name," Preity posted on her Twitter page Tuesday.
The 34-year-old says she felt she would die in there, but managed to escape.
"Thought I was going to die as I am claustrophobic. Pulled a muscle in my arm," she added.
She says her tomboy attitude helped her come out of the toilet.
"Being a tomboy when I was younger definitely helped. Trying to climb a wall is never easy. Phew! Happy to go home now," she said.

Surprisingly, the title of the film ‘Veera, the warrior’ resembles with Bollywood hero Salman Khan’s latest film, which also have the same title.
Director Ramesh Varma said that, except the resemblance in the title there will be no familiarity between the two films. The film will be produced by Ganesh Indukuri, under Tolly to Holly Films banner. Devisri Prasad is scoring music for this film. Camera: Shyam.K. Naidu, Dialogues: Paruchuri Brothers. The film will go to sets very soon.
Film on Visa God Chilkur Balaji
Chilkur Balaji is more popularly known as Visa God. Thousands of Visa aspirants thronged the temple everyday praying for Visas and they
circumambulated the temple 108 times after their wish was fulfilled.
Now a film on the famous Chilkur Balaji temple is being made by GY Giri and Raja Goud. The film has been titled as ‘Sri Chilkur Balaji Mahatyam’ and it will explain the origin of the temple and its importance. The film will be mostly shot on location in and around Chilkur.
Uday is the director. The film will have a large star cast comprising of about 65 actors from Telugu cinema as well as TV and stage artists.
