Chilkur Balaji is more popularly known as Visa God. Thousands of Visa aspirants thronged the temple everyday praying for Visas and they
circumambulated the temple 108 times after their wish was fulfilled.
Now a film on the famous Chilkur Balaji temple is being made by GY Giri and Raja Goud. The film has been titled as ‘Sri Chilkur Balaji Mahatyam’ and it will explain the origin of the temple and its importance. The film will be mostly shot on location in and around Chilkur.
Uday is the director. The film will have a large star cast comprising of about 65 actors from Telugu cinema as well as TV and stage artists.
