through ‘Khadgam’ and there were literally no movies after that till ‘Magadheera’ in 2009. She did an item song which created a stir for its lyrics and the way it is picturised. Later she appeared in ‘Anjaneyulu’ before doing ‘Yaagam’ in Tollywood.
Recently she shared a funny incident happened when she and her mother first visited Andhra Pradesh for her first schedule of ‘Khadgam’. As soon as she and her mother reached the sets, everyone greeted them saying ‘Randi’’ Randi’. By hearing it both Kim and her mother were furious with the comment and complained it to the director Krishna Vamshi. By hearing it, director broke into laugh and explained them it is not what they are thinking (‘Randi’ means prostitute in Hindi), but a respectful welcome greeting.
